The house is located on the first floor of a historic building in Via dei Velluti in the heart of the Santo Spirito district. The apartment has everything you need to guarantee you a pleasant stay in Florence. The interior is divided into a large open space, the kitchen and the bathroom. Great find.

If you’re looking to live like a local for your stay this is the place. So close to everything. Nothing fancy but a clean bathroom and a place to sleep at night. Communication was great and check in and out was super simple.

Charming neighborhood

Close to many Museums and in the core of the old city. Apartment was clean and bed very confortable. Easy communication with host. Would go back anytime!

Cute place

The apartment was nice but we definitely could have used some kitchen towels and another bath towel for each of us. There was no way to empty the trash so that was not pleasant either. Great location.

Great location!

This property is a fantastic location! Having said that, the pictures are deceiving. We knew when booking that this wasn’t the ideal property that we would have wanted, but knew we could make it work. However, we weren’t counting on no air conditioning. Sometimes the toilet would flush, and sometimes it would take 4 or 5 try’s before it would flush. Overall, a good cleaning and a fresh coat of paint would make a huge difference!

Nice one night stay in Florence

We spent one night at this property in a great location. Property was clean and someone was there to meet us on arrival. Edoardo was a communicative host as there was a bit of an issue at a property we originally booked. He promptly communicated that there was an issue to us and rebooked us to a different property that we agreed to. This worked out fine as we were still over 24 hours from our arrival in Florence. Appreciated his communication and being upfront about the issue. We enjoyed our one night at this property and would recommend.

Perfect location

The apartment is spatious, well furnished and has all necessities. On a surface area it was clean but the bedframe slip coverings, duvets, blankets and couches were all quite heavily stained. The communication was great, they were very welcoming, punctual and helpful. It is in a central location, a few minutes from Ponte Vecchio and just a few steps to Piazza Pitti. Other than those few details, it was a great stay.

Excellent Stay!

This property was exactly what it was advertised and was wonderful to stay in. The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent, and he was very helpful and quick to respond. We had an issue with our toilet not flushing, but a maintenance person was sent right away and he was helpful and fixed the problem. The apartment was warm, but once we turned on the fan and opened the windows it was not too bad. Location couldn’t be better.

Good location, kind of low end accommodation

Apt was nicely located but didn't look quite like pictures. Appeared to be decorated with found objects. Oscillating tower fan was the 'ac' and i had to remove factory tape to clean dirty filter for the first time. Had windows open for ventilation for musty closet and semblance of cross breeze so outside noise was an issue. Check in guys were nice though and again, great location!

Great spot, difficult check-in

Nothing wrong with the property: beautiful, clean, centrally located, lots of space. But due to the check-in process alone, we won't be returning. When we had internet, we were able to communicate with the host via Whatsapp to meet us at the apartment for in-person check-in, like "We're walking from the station now, be there in 20 minutes." He agreed, but in the time we walked we lost internet and could no longer communicate with him. We arrived timely, but he wasn't there when he said he'd be there. We literally had to go to a cafe and order so we could access the cafe's Wifi so we could ask the host where he went. It was stressful, plus we were lugging our luggage around everywhere. There should be a self check-in process, where passports, fees, etc. are handled before arrival at the property. That's how our other Vrbos have handled check-in.

Never spent the night

Our Host greeted us early! We took a key and stored our luggage before check in. That's where a good experience ended. When we returned at 1500 we found no blankets and there were no sheets or pillows for the pull out sofa. Floor was mopped w/dirty water. I contacted the after hours team and reported we needed sheets and blankets and that the sofa was badly stained with flat chair pads covering the stain(s) I texted pictures. They said that was a Monday morning problem and I should have discussed when I got the key. I explained we left our bags and expected it to be ready for a Father and Daughter. I took a shower and found alternate accommodations for our 5 nights. Because I paid for access, I did use the clothes washer two times as the Apt. was close to our hotel. I left the key on the table a day early as I had no need to return.
