Great apartment in a great neighborhood. Had everything we needed and was very clean. Marci and Miki were most accommodating and were very friendly and helpful.
The apartment was perfectly located to walk to everything. Checkin was easy and Franco so welcoming. Having a washer was so helpful. Plenty of hot water but the water pressure was definitely on the low side. Would definitely recommend this apartment

Very nice accomodating people. Its an old building so cold water on occasion is expectee
Perfect location!!! Loved having 2 bathrooms! Clean and very safe. Check in was VERY thorough which was good but pretty lengthy when you're tired from travel. Definitely would stay here next time!
Great location-close to train station. Property was clean, well organized, and had everything we needed. The hosts met us and gave us some great tips on things to do, and places to visit during our stay. Would highly recommend this property during your stay in Florence.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Welll appointed room. Nice neighborhood. Great hosts. EVERYTHING we needed and wanted to see was within walking distance. The Florence Duomo, Arts Accademia, Michaelangelo gardens, so much more. Even the train station was a short walk.
Our stay at Miki and Franco’s Michaela Apartment through Italy Perfect was so welcoming and comfortable from check in to checkout. The apartment is so lovely, the neighborhood is fantastic and the hosts treated us like old friends. We had stayed in four other VRBOs during our month traveling through Italy but without question this was the winner!!!

Not fancy. You feel like you're staying and your Italian grandmother's home which is a lovely feeling. Superior location.

Spacious, clean, fabulous location-best part was how gracious our hosts, Mikiki and Franco were!
Mikki and Franco met us at the apartment on our arrival and we there for checkout. They spent 40 minutes with us at check in; Franco had prepared a hand markup of a Florence map with the apartment and other locations marked and was great about telling how far the walk was to each. Best of all, they recommended 4 separate restaurants and we hit each; wow!! Highly recommend this fabulous spot! Feel free to reach out to us for a convo, as the written word really does not do this couple and location justice.
Check in process lengthy & they charged for utilities!
I can’t imagine anyone having to go through the one hour check in process after a long flight. I came from Lucca but still didn’t enjoy it. Checkout was expected as well, mostly so the owners can collect the additional utility fees (in cash) for the gas, water and electricity which i do not recall reading when booking. The owner had walked me over to the meter at check in as well as check out which I thought was very tacky. Also the listing says it has carbon monoxide alarm which it doesn’t.

Fantastic
Perfect location and great apartment, but what makes it even more spectacular are the hosts. We stayed in the apartment from Dec 28 until Jan 1. Florence was filled with tourists and new year's eve partyers. Our hosts, Miki and Franco, tried to unsuccessfully reserve a cab the night before for our early 1/1 airport departure due to all of the partyers still filling the streets. Instead - they suggested we get up early and call. Time was winding down, it was 5 am and we were desperate to get ot the airport. As a last resort, we called Franco. Without a fuss he picked us up and drove us to the airport. Both Miki and Franco took excellent care of us and made us feel very welcome. I highly recommend this apartment for your stay in Florence.
My sister and I stayed at the Michaela Apartment for about a week and we had a lovely time. The apartment is centrally located and hosts Franco and Miki were very kind and helpful.
The owner's were very kind and understanding. The property is fantastic. The bed is a little hard, but other than that - it was a great spot! Highly recommend if you are coming to Florence!
This charming apartment is really well located - easy walk to all of the most interesting parts of Florence. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is well provisioned so that it is easy to eat at home. Every aspect of the apartment is comfortable. The building is secure. Our hosts were charming and directed us to very good restaurants nearby. We loved it and we loved Florence.

Great Location and Comfortable Living
We were very pleased with this apartment located just a few minutes from the Duomo and within easy walking distance of sites on both sides of the Arno River. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The hosts were quite gracious and friendly. What we appreciated most was being about to come back in the afternoon to rest up after our morning's experiences, skip the heat of the afternoon, as well as the crowds, and then head out again in the evening. The bakery and coffee shop, as well as the Pam grocery, all within a block, were also appreciated.

Great location
Good location. Quirky apartment. Spacious and overall comfortable. Best feature is definitely the location- we could walk everywhere and it was nice to stop in and out throughout the day.

Beautiful Florence
The apartment, Michaela, that we rented in Florence was in the perfect location. It was within walking distance of almost anything you would want to see, and there was a wonderful bakery, a great deli and some wonderful restaurants all within a block or two. The owners of the apartment were charming and helpful. Staying at this apartment was part of what made the entire Florence part of our vacation a favorite.

Ideal Location
We have stayed in Firenze before in hotels, and this was a refreshing change. Ideal location within easy walking distance of Academia and Uffizi and the shopping areas. Miki and Franco are lovely, gracious people who were quite helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions. We recommend this type of travel to those seeking more of a "locals" experience.

Perfect location and wonderful hosts
We were very pleased with our stay in this apartment. The apartment is within walking distance of everything we wanted to see and do, and we were able to walk to the train station on arrival and departure (10 minutes). Because the apartment is very quiet, facing a courtyard and not the street, it was always a surprise to open the front door of this beautiful building and step out into the bustling center of Florence. The area around the apartment is packed with restaurants and there is a very small food shop (for yogurt, milk and the like). Larger grocery stores are farther away, but still within walking distance. The second full bathroom was a plus, as well. Finally, our hosts were charming. They gave us a thorough orientation to the apartment and the neighborhood when they handed over the keys. We did sneak a peak at the Prisco apartment, which used to be the main living area of this family's flat, and it is stunning, with high ceilings and beautiful details and a full kitchen. However, we preferred the quieter placement of Michaela at the end of the hall. One thing to note is that this is a spacious, comfortable apartment, but it is not a luxury hotel. Towels are line dried, which means a bit scratchy, and sheets aren't changed daily. But, this is what we were expecting and it suited us just fine.
