  • Welcome to our vacation rental on Via de Banchi, in the heart of Florence. This splendid one-bedroom suite is on the second floor of a historic building, offering a blend of timeless elegance and modern convenience. An elevator ensures easy access to the unit.

    The spacious suite is full of natural light and has been newly renovated for maximum comfort, although we've retained original details like the crystal chandelier and the stunning frescoed ceiling. In the living area, you'll find a large dining table, a double sofa bed, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a full-size stove, making you feel at home away from home. The separate bedroom features a queen bed and a charming mix of modern and antique furniture, and the roomy bathroom has a large walk-in shower. Fantastic Apartment with Helpful Guides & Information

It's a perfectly-located, clean, and spacious apartment that was a highlight of our Italy trip! There was the above-excellent communication, and some extremely helpful neighborhood guides and resources on display inside the apartment. What a gem! If more rental properties stood out like this, Vrbo would not be able to keep up with the influx of business.

DO NOT BOOK! A nasty bathroom stench that will ruin your stay! Unit has a plumbing problem in bathroom creating a sewer smell permeating the unit. When checking in we noticed a stale odor. First thought it was musty due to air conditioning not turned on. Later determined the “sewer gas” smell was emanating from bathroom. After contacting management, they offered to send out a “technician” to resolve the problem. We told them that he had to resolve the problem or we wanted a refund and would seek alternative accommodations. He poured cleaner down the shower drain and added an air freshener claiming that the smell was due to “improper cleaning” of the shower drain. He claimed it was “fixed.” Skeptical, we agreed to air out unit to test. Difficult to tell given the overwhelming smell of the cleaner and air freshener. Left unit for several hours. Upon return (10:30PM) the sewer gas smell had returned but too late to do anything. In the morning, contacted the operator again to report smell had returned. Recommended this be fixed for future renters. Requested a 50% refund of our fees. No response for hours, claimed it was “resolved,” but even if it hadn’t, it was not “under our direct control” and denied refund request. This issue clearly WAS under their control but using legal wording in the contract to avoid any refund. We would NOT book this unit or deal with the management group.
