Go up at the first floor of a small building and you will find your apartment immersed in tranquillity, consisting of a beautiful eat-in kitchen, a large living room with a sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. The apartment has been recently renovated, inside you can admire the beautiful paintings and artistic photographs made by its owners. A potentially good apartment but some inconveniences

It was noisy because construction was going on at night in the next door flat. The AC was not working. Instead , we got fans which was not up the rental price of the flat. We were told to leave the flat if we didn't like it . It was nonsense.

Bathroom was a huge problem

When we arrived we discovered that the toilet seat was not attached, my husband fell! The toilet paper holder fell off the wall when I touched it, it was basically balancing on the wall piece. The shower is an approximate 18 inch step down into a slippery wet tile floor, which I slipped down into. I would highly recommend a slip proof shower mat and a safety bar to hold onto while stepping down. We are average size people, someone larger than us could have been seriously injured! There are no amenities, make sure you have shampoo and soap.

We loved our stay here in Florence. The flat is a great size and in a lovely neighbourhood that feels safe and is quiet. There are some great shops, restaurants and bakeries on the same road. It is easy to get the bus or walk to the other side of the river. We want to say thank you to Attilio who met us to check in and show us around. He had some great recommendations and helped us check out on our last day when we couldn’t work the key safe. A few amenities would be useful such as washing up liquid and basic cooking ingredients such as salt, pepper and oil would have been useful for a short stay.
