It should be noted a city tax per person, per day will be required to be paid to the hostess during stay. Also just prior to the stay we found out the washer wasn’t working and wouldn’t be fixed until we left. My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The location is fantastic and very walkable, and we loved the look and design of the room itself. I only had one small issue. We specifically booked this location because it included a washer and dryer but we were informed at the time of check-in that the washer was out of service. It's a very minor issue but it was inconvenient because we packed less clothes with the intention of cleaning them. Still, we would absolutely stay again. ##### Jake S. It was in an awesome location, walkable to all attractions. Nice to stay in a more traditional building. We were in Florence during a very hot time in July, and the several ACs in the apartment kept us cool. It would have been very warm otherwise. We were thrilled with this property! Excellent for a family of four. There was more than enough space for all. Large bedroom with closing door on the main floor along with a large bathroom on the same floor. The other large spacious bedroom was a loft, so it opened to the rest of the unit. There was a smaller bedroom with no door and very short ceiling. It had a single bed and on suite bathroom. The laundry room was also accessed through this small room. It was strange to have laundry and bathroom access off this one tiny room, and disruptive to the person sleeping here. The property was very clean and had fresh remodeled bathrooms. Loved it! The kitchen was nice, although we didn't actually do any real cooking. Just boiled a pot of water for pasta and reheated a pizza. It had everything you could need for cooking and eating if you wanted. This is a walk up unit, so be prepared to carry your bags up flights. It is located within a reasonable walking distance of many sights. An excellent location! Plenty of restaurants close by and a great breakfast cafe at the end of the street and around the corner. Check in directions were very clear and easy to access lock box with the key. Excellent wifi in entire unit. If you plan to use public transportation make sure to plan your route. After being in the city a few days we realized there was a better way to return to our rental car lot than the initial route we took in to the city center. Highly recommended! It’s beautiful and worth the climb. The apartment is a duplex with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms , kitchen and washing machine. The location is amazing: around the corner from Santa Croce Church— tons of restaurants, shops. 15 minute walk to the train station. It was a short walk to everything and everywhere we wanted to go. Traveling with three young adult children, having three bathrooms was an absolute godsend. This was my second place in Florence, and was our absolute favorite!!The house was beautiful and perfect for our needs. We were picking up my daughter from university and this house was close to everything we required. Need an affogato? Just around the corner!! Host was so kind to let us store our 9 pieces of luggage early. Warning: there are many stairs!! But do some squats and no problem. I plan to go back and stay here in a year or 2. ##### Chrissy G. The house itself is spacious and well kept. You do have to climb two flights of stairs to get there, so it was tiring moving luggage up and down. The bathrooms are clean and seem recently renovated, however the water pressure is quite low across the whole apartment (it is okay if you are only using one sink/shower, but if two are running at the same time the pressure reduces significantly). There is a separate washer and dryer for laundry (surprising to find in Italy!) which really came in handy. The house was well decorated and retained the lovely charm of the historic buildings while still being updated where necessary. ##### Tiffany S. Obviously the loft would still be partly open but even a lined curtain would assist those sleeping there The place is great ! ##### john h. This house was beyond incredible and the pictures do not do it justice. Amazing location in the center of Florance and an overall fantastic experience for our family.
