Guelfa Apartment

The apartment is on the ground floor of an elegant building on a quiet street in Florence’s historic centre.
The front door opens into a space that separates the sleeping area from the living area. On one side are the living room, kitchen, and bathroom, while on the other side are the two bedrooms. The kitchen has a lovely terrace furnished with chairs and a table, perfect for enjoying dinner outdoors or simply relaxing.

The apartment has been completely renovated in recent years, giving it the feel of a brand-new space.
Access to the apartment is via stairs—although it’s on the ground floor, the stairs provide easy and comfortable access.
Guests will be welcomed with a toiletries kit containing hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner.
Upon request, a high chair for children or a baby cot is available.
The apartment has air conditioning in every room. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire apartment. The living room features a Smart TV with Netflix included. The kitchen is fully equipped with all appliances, including an oven, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine (pods included), kettle, and toaster.

Guests will be welcomed by a staff member available to assist with any questions or provide necessary information.

The apartment is located in the San Lorenzo area—in the heart of the historic centre. The area’s main attraction is the famous Central Market, where hundreds of vendors come and go with their carts every day; by night, the carts are removed, leaving the streets empty. The city’s most popular attractions are all within a short walking distance. The main train station, Santa Maria Novella, is only a ten-minute walk away.

The apartment is just outside the restricted traffic zone (ZTL)—literally at its entrance—which makes it easier to access by car. In the historic centre, you’ll always need to spend some time looking for a parking spot. Otherwise, you can leave your car at one of the many private car parks in the area surrounding the apartment.

Given the current global health situation, we have decided to increase our focus and time dedicated to CLEANING and SANITATION. We handle this with the help of professionals who sanitise every surface in the apartment after a guest’s stay. This increased focus affects our cleaning costs, but we believe it results in long-term gains in health and safety. We can all agree that cutting corners on health wouldn’t be wise. We hope you understand and support us in this decision.

Check-in ends at 8:30 PM. After this time, check-in is possible for an additional fee. From 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM, the fee is €30.00. After 10:30 PM, the fee is €50.00. Payment must be made through Airbnb upon arrival.
