The apartment consists of two very large bedrooms, a big bathroom with shower and bathtub, another small bathroom in the double room, kitchen equipped with every accessory, lounge with double sofa bed. It is located in an excellent position as it is a stone's throw from the bus and tram stops that take you to the historic center of the city in a few minutes. The apartment is also located near the Cascine Park and the VISARNO ARENA which in summer hosts important events and concerts such as the Firenze Rocks. It is also a convenient starting point for excursions in Chianti and trips outside the city to the most important tourist destinations in Tuscany (such as Pisa, Versilia, Livorno, etc.) as it is close to the Florence-Pisa-Livorno highway and the entrances to the A1-A11 motorways. Nearby there are grocery stores, markets, bars, pizzerias, ice cream parlors, ATMs, hairdressers, laundry, post office, shops, and every type of service that will make your stay even more pleasant. In front of the apartment is the large park "Villa Strozzi Garden" ideal for walks, for children, and where numerous events take place in the summer (concerts, open-air theater, etc.). CLEANING FEE: € 60,00. AIR CONDITIONING ON REQUEST only in the master bedroom: € 5,00 per day (other room have fans). PRIVATE PARKING on request (€8.00 per day). The car must NOT exceed the following dimensions: length 4400 mm, width 1850 mm, height 1580 mm. Manual lock with key. TOURIST TAX required by the Municipality of Florence to be paid upon check-in: €6 per person per night for stays up to 7 nights (not due for children under 12 years). The price includes bathroom, bed and kitchen linen. The indicated price is to be intended for the entire apartment for 4 guests; a supplement of € 10,00 per person is required from the fifth guest. The apartment accommodates up to six people, in addition to the possibility of adding a cot for a child on request. High chair for children also available. Upon check in a security deposit of € 150.00 could be required and it will be returned upon check out except for any damage. Check in: from 15:00 to 19:30\. Chiara and Stefania were wonderful hosts. Both before and during the stay their communication was excellent and they were always very helpful. The apartment was spacious, very clean and well equipped and having 2 bathrooms and a washing machine was very useful for both ourselves and our guests during our month-long stay. However, the double bed was uncomfortable and needs to be changed. It was two single mattresses on a wood and metal frame but as they were wider than the frame, which had a raised edge, this led to a dip in the middle which affected the sleep of both myself and my husband. We feel that this would be a problem even for stays of a shorter time. The lighting in the sitting room was inadequate and made reading/working on the computer difficult and again this could be annoying even for shorter stays. Supplying just one pillow per guest was not enough and made sitting up in bed against the metal headboard uncomfortable. Other minor items like having only 3 cushions and 3 red wine glasses for an apartment that can take 4-6 people are things that can be easily dealt with. The neighbourhood has good travel links into the centre by both bus (4 mins walk) and tram (7 mins walk) and even walking into the Ponte Vecchio/Uffizi took us only 30-35 mins. 10 journey tickets can be bought and used in both bus and tram. We would recommend this apartment and would be happy to stay again. ##### Claire H. The apartment was great, with easy access into Florence by tram. A nearby coffee shop was a regular breakfast spot and a restaurant not far away was great for dinners. Pizza is so good in Italy. Only one bedroom was air conditioned, but fans in the other rooms kept the record heat in June, 2023 bearable. We found one good restaurant close by but there really wasn't much more to do. We were not allowed to use the elevator and the apartment is on the 3rd floor (they start with 0 instead of 1) and it was difficult to get our luggage up to the apartment.
