For those coming by car, the nearest motorway exit is the A1 Impruneta exit. Dimora Pieri is located inside the ZTL( limited traffic zone). The boundaries of the ZTL are marked by road signs and have access doors monitored by cameras that detect all the license plates of passing vehicles. Florence Oltrarno, that area between Borgo San Frediano and Borgo Santo Spirito, a treasure trove of the most authentic and genuine Florence, is an area full full of places of interest, picturesque squares and alleys, old artisan workshops and small typical cafés. Shops that boast customers from all over the world and that tell about the tradition of ceramics, art, woodcarving and decoration. Many artisans still live here. Goldsmith's workshops, streets famous for antiques, such as Via Maggio or places of art where the ancient technique of engraving, metalworking or the fifteenth-century technique of gilding furniture and frames is practiced in the splendid Santo Spirito. In the immediate vicinity you will find also a pharmacy, a bar restaurant, two small supermarkets and a laundromat, as well as many other shops of all kinds, many trattoria and typical restaurants within easy walking distance.
