Upon entering, you'll find a large, bright living room with a Smart TV, a double sofa bed, and a fully equipped modern kitchen, perfect for cooking and sharing meals around a large wooden table. You'll find everything you need: a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker, luggage rack, and a large table for preparing your favorite dishes, as well as a dining table. There is also a high chair for children (to be requested in advance) as well as children's plates, cutlery and games. The two bedrooms are spacious, bright, and feature large mirrors and windows. The primary bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a dresser for your personal items along with an en-suite bathroom equipped with a bathtub and bidet. The bedroom also offers, a charming relaxation area with an armchair and small table where you can admire the tower of the Palazzo Vecchio through the large windows from a unique and exclusive perspective which is ideal for a sunset and evening aperitif. The secondary bedroom is also bright and has a large wardrobe, two single beds which can be joined together to make a double bed upon request. There is also, a child’s foldable play-pen for the little ones to play or sleep in which is available upon request. The main bathroom, located in the hallway ensures comfort and privacy for all guests and is equipped with a shower and washing machine. The apartment has a cozy mezzanine with a skylight that serves as a study- work- relaxation area, or third bedroom since it has a desk and ergonomic chair, rug, and stylish double sofa bed. We recommend not opening the skylight window because it is defective. The entire apartment is covered by air conditioning for the summer and heating for the winter. The apartment can accommodate up to 8 people, although it is recommended for 6 guests for greater comfort. It combines, convenience and historic charm with modern comforts in a unique and authentic atmosphere. Our opinion: This apartment is particularly recommended for groups or families who truly want to experience historic Florence without sacrificing modern comfort. Even from the streets below, you can feel the atmosphere of a city center that was the cradle of the Renaissance and the center of the world! The apartment, with its vintage photographs, evokes scenes of life through the 1900s, when the Italian "Bella Vita" enchanted the world. The apartment is located on an upper floor which provides excellent lighting but has to be reached by 79 steps so its best suited for guests who don’t mind a bit of climbing. The apartment's central location makes it easy to explore Florence's historic center on foot. Public transportation is plentiful and conveniently located nearby, making it easy to get around. The closest bus stop is "Galleria degli Uffizi," about a 2-minute walk away; nearby bus lines include C1, C3, 23, C4, and C2. You couldn't ask for a more central location: right between Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Museum, and next to the Piazza della Signoria. The entire neighborhood exudes Renaissance history, particularly the street where the apartment is located. It was built in the early Middle Ages and later took its name from the Lamberteschi family, a powerful Ghibelline family. At the end of World War II, part of the street was blown up by the retreating Germans, intent on blocking access to the Ponte Vecchio with rubble. On the night of May 27, 1993, the street suffered severe damage once again, this time in the section nearest the Uffizi, when the Mafia (Cosa Nostra) carried out the attack on Via dei Georgofili, detonating a car bomb at the corner with this street. The Albero della Pace (Tree of Peace), an olive‑tree monument, is just steps away from the apartment and was erected as a memorial of this bombing. The apartment is located between Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery, just next to the Piazza della Signoria, in the most authentic and charming heart of historic Florence. In less than a minute's walk, you can reach the Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio, and Piazza della Repubblica, and stroll along the Lungarno, admiring the city from one of its most iconic views. This neighborhood, the cradle of Florentine art and history, has been a symbol of Renaissance grandeur for centuries. Every stone tells a fragment of the past: the goldsmiths' shops on the Ponte Vecchio, still in business today, the noble palaces overlooking the Arno, and the lively squares where business, art, and politics once intertwined. There's no shortage of authentic experiences: in the alleys surrounding the apartment, you'll find typical osterias, historic trattorias, and signature cafés, where you can savor traditional Tuscan dishes and soak up the lively and refined atmosphere of Florence. El departamento esta muy bonito y limpio, en zona muy céntrica, caminamos a todos los puntos de interes. Pero sobre todo el anfitrión Danielle, es sumamente atento, la comunicación es excelente y te hace sentir en casa, es muy apapachador, es un excelente anfitrión, muy disponible, nos dejó un vino y galletas aue fueron el plus. Solo hay que decir que no había suficiente papel higiénico tuvimos que comprar, que la recamara de arriba en realidad es una sala de estar sin mucha privacidad y el sofá cama es muy duro, y toda la noche se escucha agua caer lo cual resulta molesto y no te deja descansar y nos quedamos sin Internet la última. Noche y los 80 escalones para llegar al departamento es muy pesado y agotador, ademas de que son incomodos, Danielle nos ayudó a subir maletas pero es muy agotador estar subiendo y bajando esas escaleras. Sobre todo si vas con personas mayores, de movilidad limitada o problemas de las articulaciones.
