This property is located on first floor with elevator and can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests (4 bedrooms and sofa beds in the living room). The apartment is set all on one floor and measures around 3000 square feet. This home away from home boasts a genuinely Florentine feel and character, bespoke furnishings and top-quality appliances, and an overall luxury chic essential style. One living room is more informal and “relaxing”, furnished with large spacious sofas (that convert into sofa beds), chaise-longues and comfortable upholstered poufs. This room looks out over onto Corso Tintori. The other, more formal, boasts sofas and chairs, more suited to intimate conversations or after dinner cocktails, made easy with an elegant wet bar that makes serving drinks a delight. This room looks out onto the inner garden space in the courtyard. The apartment boasts four luxury bedrooms, each of which has a beautiful en-suite bathroom to ensure utmost privacy and commodity. Each bedroom has been exquisitely interior designed (with hand-crafted wardrobes for maximum design and functionality) and decorated with their own subtle themes and colour palette. Each one boasts a grand headboard, each crafted by our own team of local artisans using quality genuine Italian leather, and each one with its own distinct colour to match the ancient frescoes that adorn the ceilings. Beautiful marble tiles adorn each bathroom which boast a walk-in shower. A description of the Suites: 1 - Suite Caterina: This lovely suite has one double mattress measuring 160cm x 200cm and faces on to the apartment's internal patio. 2 - Suite Lucrezia: This lovely suite has one double mattress measuring 180cm x 200cm and has an internal view. 3 - Suite Isabella: This elegant and spacious suite has two single mattresses (each one is 90cm x 200cm). The mattresses can be placed together to form one double bed (180cm x 200cm) or upon request two twin beds. This bedroom also has a separate lounge area furnished with double sofa bed (140cm x 190cm). This room also has an internal view. 4 - Suite Ginevra: This nice room has a double mattress measuring 180cm x 200cm. The bedroom looks out on to Corso Tintori. We had a great Christmas in this house. Lots of space to relax and everyone had their own room. Was much larger than we expected. We had a great cooking class in the house. Such fun learning to make pasta and an amazing meal! We were welcomed with multiple bottles of wine. It was great to be right above a grocery store for any of our last minute needs. It is obvious that the owners have a passion for restoring grand apartments by marrying the preservation of the old with the highest quality modern amenities. It is equally obvious that you are being invited to enjoy their home as their guest. The location is excellent. You are mostly a 5-10 minute leisurely walk to all of the places you will want to visit and no more than 20 minutes from everything in the city center. And the apartment is very quiet. Erika met us at the apartment to explain everything and was always available for help. She was extremely helpful throughout our 5 night stay. The floor plan was ideal—my parents stayed in the front bedroom, while the rest of us (4 adults with 4 kids) used the bedrooms in the back. This setup worked out perfectly for our needs. The apartment’s design is excellent, with an adult-oriented living room, a cozy TV room, and an inviting outdoor patio, all connected to the centrally located kitchen. This layout was particularly handy during a cooking class we did with Erika, the home manager, which was amazing. Erika was also incredibly responsive throughout our stay and provided us with many great suggestions of things to do in Florence and the surrounding area. Donatella has truly thought of everything to make this apartment an outstanding place to stay. From the meticulously prepared welcome package, the easy-to-use A/C units in every room, the washer/dryer, and even old frescos on the ceilings that they were able to save during the renovation of this apartment. The apartment is also in a prime location, only a block from Santa Croce and a block from the Arno. I highly recommend this apartment—you will not be disappointed! ##### Brennan G. Anna was amazing to work with and everything was as described and better. The home was tastefully decorated and had everything that we needed. Quiet neighborhood just a few blocks from the bustle of Florence. We walked everywhere easily (a group aged 15-72). The apartment was so comfortable and well appointed. It was a haven after a day of sightseeing. Walking to get gelato or coffee and pastries took no time at all. The place is also directly above a grocery store, so grabbing milk, snacks, or food for dinner was extremely easy. Beds were cozy and bathrooms were clean. We had Erika come and give us a cooking class in the amazing kitchen. She was so informative and fun. She and her daughter set everything up, taught us how to make pastas, gnocchi, pesto, and Zuppa Inglese. We had such a good time cooking with them. They set a beautiful table, finished the cooking and we had an amazing meal.The entire stay could not have been better.
