"Staff were extremely helpful, room and gym were great, didn't use the SPA/fitness classes but they looked great too. Breakfast was also top notch and I'll definitely stay here again when travelling to North Wales for work or watching the Cymru Premier footy."

"We would certainly stay here again, room had shower, fan, iron, ironing board , kettle, tea, coffee & biscuits. Room was very clean, bedding spotless, plenty of room to put up our travel cot. Also I love how the room has a front door, we were able to reverse the car in front of our room which helped with the unloading of the car- very handy. The bar had the most amazing food which looks pricey but you get a lot for your money and the food its self is amazing. Staff were very polite and professional. We paid to have breakfast included which i recommend, the welsh breakfast was beautiful. Ideal place to stay if you plan on day trips out as short drives to places like Rhyl. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend. They also have a bouncy castle for kids to enjoy and outdoor seating area, also a golf course."

"The rooms are certainly dated, but perfectly functional. In the very hot weather the proximity of the busy main road wasn't great for sleeping. The pub/restaurant is very good, serves great food and very good service. The breakfast was also excellent, and the staff were very helpful with early the early start we had on our last day too. Just off the A55 also makes it an ideal base for getting around north Wales."

"Clean and tidy property. Well suited to a large gathering (stag in our case). Easy to locate and useful to have cheap public carpark next door. Train station a short walk away with regular trains into Chester. Appreciate the en-suites in each room. We enjoyed our stay!"
