Beautiful in every way.
Staff was extremely helpful and the food was delicious!
We will definitely remember our stay and spread the word to everyone we know. Food and location were excellent!
I stayed at this beautiful riad with my mom and dad on our trip to Fes. The room were clean and very comfortable, hot shower, comfy beds, and overall great location in the heart of the Medina. Wonderful and friendly people - Karim and the Riad Joy staff were so welcoming and helped us make the most of our trip. Highly recommend for any travelers - authentic Moroccan decor and experience with modern comforts (elevator, only a few minutes to streets with plenty of taxis). Five stars experience! Traditional Moroccan Breakfast everyday with delicious snacks and tea served every afternoon. We miss you friend at the Riad Joy!
The Riad was beautifully appointed and maintained. For some reason they upgraded us to the Pasha suite on the first floor adjoining the lobby. It was gorgeous and comfortable and very quiet despite being just off the lobby.
The breakfasts were very good and plentiful. And the dining room was nice and bright on the roof. We ate dinner in the hotel the first night and the food was very good Moroccan food.
The staff were all very friendly, competent and helpful. Especially Haitem. He sort of took us under his wing and helped us with any questions regarding Fes or problems.
Overall it was a wonderful refuge to return to after a long hot and hectic day of walking.
Riad Joy is an absolutely stunning property with beautifully decorated, large and luxurious guest suites. The attention to detail and a quality of craftsmanship in both rooms and public spaces is outstanding; the level of cleanliness is superb. I travel frequently and the kindness and courtesy of the multilingual staff is unsurpassed : I have never experienced better hospitality. We enjoyed the hamman and massage in the small but perfectly designed spa, and the delicious breakfasts were professionally served. We will stay here any time we return to Fes!
I don't even know where to start. Karim the manager was an angel; so kind, accommodating, and also knowledgeable about Moroccan history. Soumaya was fantastic with our endless requests and questions. And then Adil, Ibrahim, and Ayoub were charming/funny, professional, and hard working. The venue was a dream, the beds comfy, and the food was wonderful. Out of my entire stay in several cities around Morocco, this was my favorite stay because of this outstanding team.
It’s my most favorite Riad in all of Morocco! I doubt I’ll ever find a more wonderful team of people who go above and beyond to make everyone’s stay most enjoyable. Believe me when I say they helped me tremendously. I had a booking snag and they accommodated me without hesitation and helped coordinate my travel back to the airport at 3:30am. The Riad is more beautiful in person. Everything is clean. The customer service is the best. I’ll always return to Riad Joy when I travel to Fez/Fes. I genuinely love this place and the staff!
