Worth it to get a medina view and balcony as I had. But even if you don't there is a large terrace you can lounge on to enjoy the view. The staff was wonderful as was the dining. The hotel itself is old and therefore a bit dated, with some peeling paint and slow plumbing, but this did not detract from my stay. It was too cold to swim but the pool was inviting and the lounge chairs were great for reading. Also its a short drive or slightly longer walk to the medina, so nicely located. Just a note for coffee and tea lovers-none in the room. The room we had was OK and bathroom sink drain and shower head were an issue. The buffet in food was limited for our vegetarian needs, but staff accommodated special requests. The adjacent historic view point/monument was easy to walk to and we saw an amazing sunset with city view below. Only wish the cars/motorcycles were not allowed to drive into historic spot as they ruin the expereicnce. Room is hot like....and AC is centrally off because they thought we dont need that in spring. Furniture is ooooooold. For all this you still have to pay a quite expensive price to stay here.
