A friendly family run pub with excellent meals, carvery, and breakfasts. The staff were all very efficient and friendly. The carvery was excellent with a choice of three roasts, eight vegetables and two different potatoes followed by a good choice of dessert. Breakfasts are equally good with a large choice.

Beautiful character property with cute rooms, really nice staff and delicious breakfast. Location is gorgeous!

Just the one night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Good bar food, comfortable characterful room. Would return.

Excellent staff. Room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bathroom had underfloor heating. Bathroom had a bit of a damp smell but wasn’t a problem. Breakfast was delicious.

Very central, comfortable accommodation, bedroom is a mini-apartment with fridge and microwave, milk and range of chocolate biscuits left for you (homely touch), nice hot shower (in bath, not separate). No parking on the premises but pay-car-parks and free street parking close by. Attached to a more than decent pub/restaurant. Only mini drawback: the kitchen extractor fan was a little loud when we went to bed, but didn't last long.

Good rooms cosy bar good food convenient to all shops

We stayed here in August to attend a wedding nearby so didn't get chance to eat here so we thought we would return. The food was excellent, so was the room, staff and whole experience. There was just one small thing, the first time we stayed we had breakfast in the main bar/restaurant but this time we were seated in a separate room that was just laid out with tables and chairs and it just lacked a bit of atmosphere. Really enjoyed our stay and the Staff were excellent, as was the food. Few little tweaks, some bedroom furniture such as a drawer unit and extra plug or two. Couldnt put the table lamp on without going under the table to unplug television or kettle. Overall really pleased with our stay and will definitely stay again next year. Partner missed her marmalade at breakfast not a disaster!

From check in to check out the staff were so helpful. Can fault anything.

lovely rooms, spacious and plenty of storage and a fridge. Good restaurant and good menu, reasonably priced. Nice seating areas to front and rear including a pizza oven. Breakfast was good, though you had to order the previous night, so you are stuck with what you ordered no matter what kind of night you have!

Extremely clean the staff were very welcoming and polite, could do with a stool in the room to use the dressing table, short walk to Bridgnorth

Met all our expectations

This Hotel is next to Ludlow Castle, some rooms have view of the castle otherwise it's countryside views. The manageress is Olga who is delightfully helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. The evening meal was really splendid, the venison was the best ever!! Really good cheeseboard with local cheeses.
