"Astir was literally across the street from the ocean. I did not have a full ocean view from my room, but I could see it from my balcony on the side of the building. It was a single room, so the bathroom was small, but the bed was comfortable. It was a lovely room for the price. The staff were very nice and friendly. There was a bar open in the afternoon/evening with a wonderful view of the ocean. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would stay here again. "

"We loved the hotel! Its location and views are absolutely to die for. I could have spent our whole trip in the pool just taking in the views and enjoying the serenity. The staff were amazing. We did make one mistake , when you check in they offer you half board at 20 euros a person for a 3 course dinner but you have to do it for your entire stay. We opted not to and ate at several other restaurants which did not have the views , the service , the ambience or the quality of the food at the odyssey. So don’t make the same mistake we did!!"

Only because it was reservations only and we never knew what time we'll be back and didn't want to be restricted on our days out. The only tiny minus are mirrors. There's only one mirror by the sink and that's it. Wish there was at least another small mirror attached to a wall you could move little closed to you. For someone with contact lenses it was bit hard to see what I'm doing. But that's the only thing! Breakfast was delicious and lots of variety."
