"My husband and I were mesmerized by the sound of the ocean, we slept with the patio doors open. We went August 20, 2026 and totally enjoyed our room. We lazily drank coffee in bed while waking up and the went down to have breakfast. We dined outside (the patio heaters were on). Excellent and then we walked to the Monterey Aquarium and enjoyed 20 foot aquarium window, sturgeon. jelly fish, very helpful docents."

"This place is in a spectacular spot but is in need of a severe overhaul! The rooms are beyond dated. Just don't look closely. It's like you stepped into the 60's. That being said they were clean enough. Loved the little deck off the room with chairs. The lodge was quaint and had pool tables and a band playing outside. Hard to navigate the property to find your room. It's huge and a maze. The big draw here is it sits right at the ocean. Look at it as summer camp, not a fancy place. Had a room with a working fireplace, that was a nice touch. They gave you wood and fire starters."

"Awesome stay - stunning view from every (front) room onto 17 Mile Drive and the ocean. We encoued endless hours around the fire pit.The house is a bit dated, but is clean, comfortable, well equipped and provided a perfect venue for our weekend in Pebble Beach.The location can’t be beat."
