"Basic hotel. Rooms clean but small. Bathroom in need of a little maintenance. No bar and outside courtyard space very disappointing. Didn’t take breakfast at €15 each - instead used the excellent ‘Breakfast’ lovers, a few minutes walk away. Staff on front desk friendly and helpful when asked. Hotel in very good central location, but on a steep hill. Very quite within the hotel, except the rumble of the 28e tram."

"This is a central hotel which is perfectly located for the tourist hotspots. From the outside, the hotel entrance was a little difficult to find as it was located off an alley on the back of it which led to two flights of stairs to reach the hotel reception. There is no lift. I consider ourselves to be lucky by having a room booked at the front of the hotel as we overlooked the square. The room was small but very clean. It has shutters on the windows and AC which we were very thankful for as it was summer. There was outside noise at points during the night but I was able to sleep and I feel that the slight sounds coming from the AC probably helped mask them. I cannot fault any of the staff. They were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a continental breakfast with a good selection of breads, pastries, cereals, meats, cheeses, yogurts and fruit. With coffee, tea, juice and water available to drink. The only fault I had was that we experienced someone coming in off the streets to walk up the stairs to ask for money. The building door is open during day and I think the building houses more than just the hotel so there is no one on the door to see who is entering or leaving and there were some people in the area who looked like they may have drink, drug or psychological issues which led me to feel a little unsafe at times. I would recommend this hotel if you're looking for a central hotel which is close to the main tourist hotspots and overall I enjoyed my stay here."

"Wonderful stay at Hotel Mundial in Lisbon. The staff was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. We were able to checkin very early, breakfast was included. They have a rooftop bar with great views as well as an amazing restaurant with view of the city. Bar lounge on the mail floor. Great location with many restaurants and sightseeing very near the hotel."
