The hotel is well located and attractive. They don’t tell you in advance that you may not be able to park in their lot (with in-and-out privileges) and may have to park in the UM deck instead.
Water pressure left something to be desired.
It was crowded and hard to catch an elevator.
Lots of high school kids stayed for competitions while we were there and it was very loud. They congregated in the halls without regard to other guests.

We had breakfast at the Minnehaha Cafe and the steak was cooked perfectly - the only problem was it was a bit salty. Who puts salt on the steak when it's already gotten butter on it? Other than that, we enjoyed it.

The staff are very welcoming and the newly refurbished rooms are nicely done and spatious. Only criticism is that the bathroom fan is permanently on, so if you're a light sleeper you'll notice that.
