"When we first arrived, mid afternoon on a Tuesday,there was no one there at all. There was just a paper on the empty front desk with a phone number to text upon arrival. I texted and waited. And waited. And waited. Eventually my husband and I started checking doors to what appeared to be some sort of amenities. Everything was locked. The building had the musty smell of something long abandoned. We were concerned. Eventually a man wandered into the lobby area, no uniform, looking surprised to see us. I told him we had texted the number to check in to which he replied by checking his phone then going to the desk. He checked us in and sent us to our room. We had booked a “ superior cottage with garden view”. There were no cottages, no garden and no view in what looked like a run down apartment building. We entered our room with the code we were given and were immediately hit with the smell of moisture damage. The room was barely what could be considered clean and the couch was so stained I refused to sit on it. We laughed it off and decided we were definitely roughing it but it was just 2 nights so we could tolerate it. The bed was uncomfortable and there were a total of 2 pillows for our king size bed. We tried watching tv but the screen was frozen and the remote wouldn’t pair. After an awful night with little sleep, we woke to the horror of giant cockroaches, two of which ran across the bed. There was roach excrement on the end table in the morning. We left. Horrified. "

"The spa was amazing and I highly recommend. Lots of kids and things for kids to do but you can find spots where they are not allowed. Views are amazing and the staff goes over and above! "

"A very clean and comfortable stay in the 2-bedroom cabin! While it is a bit outdated and "lived in", our cabin was spotless and very clean (which is more important in my opinion!). My family of 4 had plenty of room to move around, and the Master bedroom was extremely spacious. Check-in was very easy and our room was ready ahead of time. Parking right under our room was great. Would definitely stay here again!"
