Great stay here! The place was exactly as advertised, and very clean. Check in and check out went seamlessly. Perfect for our two couple trip. Would definitely stay here again!
This place is very nice and the view is spectacular. We saw tons of wildlife from inside the house. It was truly a great experience and a great place to stay for those wanting to visit Everglades City.
Location was great, just outside the park. The interior was stunning, as pictured, and comfortable. Amazing view of the waterway and alligators floating by. Very good communication with the owners. Thank you!
We spent three nights at Cypress Cottage and had a great time.
The property itself is super clean, modern and has all we needed for our short stay with an excellent location and awesome views onto Everglades (great to see wildlife from the windows and deck).
Location was good for local activities but bear in mind there is no ‘proper’ supermarket for 30 mins so come stocked!
Loved our stay would highly recommend
The house was immaculate and wonderfully stocked for every possible need or want. The owner was very helpful and the dock and water view are spectacular and it is very convenient to everything. Couldn’t ask for a nicer rental. Highly recommended!
This is our second stay at the "Cypress Cottage" and we love it. Location is fantastic, the house is amazing, the host is great. We can't say enough good things about the community. This is a Florida hidden gem. Our favorite part is bringing fresh caught fish to any of the local restaurants, having them cook it fresh and having a cold drink. 10 out of 10.
You can tell how lovingly and stylistically Cypress Cottage was designed and built. From the modern yet rustic charm of the outside to the way the water's reflection cascades across the living room and kitchen ceilings during the morning hours, you can how much thoughtful detail went into this home. Modern amenities such as Nest thermostat, smart TV's and digital door lock made us (a family that works in tech) feel at ease. The home was spotless and shout out to the local housekeeper for not only maintaining the home's cleanliness but saving us from desperation when we locked ourselves out the house (and the passcode to get back in was on our phone, inside of the home).
Perfect for fishing and relaxing on the dock. We were able to dock a 22 ft boat there but be warned that you want to wait until the tide comes in after 10am before shoving off. Pay no attention to complaints about water pressure. South Florida is notoriously bad with water pressure. Yes, this home is located on a main road, but it is NOT a busy one. There is literally one road in and one road out of this town of 380 people. No stores for 25 miles so either stop before arriving (before jumping on the 41 in Miami) or drive north to Naples (easy drive but it will still take you 20 minutes to get there). Don't count on the good food reviews for local eateries. Dining out in Everglades City is not worth the $$$$ or gastrointestinal aftermath.
Great property in the perfect location for us. The host was very responsive and the property is exactly as described / listed. Loved the design choices of the home and we felt very comfortable for our trip. We absolutely look forward to booking again in the future.
The rental was minimally furnished. The kitchen could have had more available and the living area was not comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the view was wonderful.
This home is exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. As a retired builder and former architectural drafter, my husband was particularly impressed by the layout. The vaulted ceilings and abundance of natural light make excellent use of the lot’s orientation. The native landscaping is also a beautiful, intentional touch.Location & Logistics:• Boating: We brought a high-end flats boat (6–8” draft) but chose not to use the on-site dock due to low-tide mud concerns. However, the marina is only two blocks away, making it a non-issue.• Noise/Privacy: Being across from a Circle K can result in some night noise. A simple blind on the glass front door and sound machines in the bedrooms would easily solve this and add extra privacy.Final Verdict: The previous reviews are highly accurate and reliable. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this property!

The property was absolutely immaculate. The huge bay windows overlooking the mangroves were such an entertaining feature & the location was just perfect. I would definitely visit this property again in the future!
We loved the Cypress Cottage. It was super clean and even prettier than the pictures. It was a great home base for exploring the area. We loved walking down the street for dinner at the Camellia Street Grill and we also really enjoyed the nearby National Parks boat tour of the Ten Thousand Islands.
Very clean and well appointed vacation rental. We all have allergies and we did very well. The beds were comfortable and the views were fantastic. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and walking to Circle K.
Our week long stay at Cypress Cottage was perfect . The cottage was spacious and so comfortable. We loved the panoramic window which was perfect for wildlife spotting . The kitchen was well stocked and the washing machine and tumble dryer very easy to use. The location is excellent with easy access to lots of activities . Fantastic Stay!
