Pleasanr, spacious apartment in a delightful setting.
Estapona is a pleasing place to stay and The Alcazaba Beach urbanisation is outstanding. Set in secure, beautifully manicured gardens, this must be one of the best developments in Spain. The architecture is varied and stylish and the beach, numerous swimming pools and gym are all easy to access.However, when no-one showed to hand over the keys to our apartment, and the office and gate-keeper knew nothing, we were upset and began to arrange hotel accommodation! With the help of a Spanish friend a key was found and to our relief, we gained access. Later, a man cam round, issued us with all the necessary keys and claimed he'd messaged us to 'phone him when we were an hour away from arriving. We had no messeges, texts, emails, voicemails or 'phone calls. This was a very bad start. Very spacious, comfortable, well-equipped and reasonably clean, the apartment was a lovely place to stay. With a television precariously perched on a broken stand, a serious plumbing leak and wi-fi problems, the site operatives were quick and attentive in resolving the difficulties. So, two weeks in a stylish, comforrable, big apartment was thoroughly enjoyable.
