The Skipton Hotel

The Skipton Hotel

8/10 Good
"Wonderful welcome from very helpful staff. The dining area and the breakfast itself were faultless. The room was tired but I've seen a lot worse and the hotel made it clear that they are in the process of updating everything - if the dining area and bar are anything to go by, this hotel will be superb in a couple of years. The room was very comfy and warm enough. The pool area also needs some updating. It was nice to have but the jacuzzi looked like it had been out of action for quite some time - a real shame. This area could be great if invested in."

The Harrogate Inn - The Inn Collection Group

The Harrogate Inn - The Inn Collection Group

10/10 Excellent
"I absolutely adored this place. The effort that the housekeeping staff have gone to to make this place look wonderful is incredible. The atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful and the bar too. The only thing I really missed was a little bowl of olives to go with my gorgeous glass of Sauvignon Blanc. It is a little bit dated in but a stunning building and beautiful bar. The little touches in the bedroom more than make up for the fact that there’s a few signs of a dated property. For instance, Ringtons coffee and biscuits and an amazing shower."

Great Victoria Hotel

Great Victoria Hotel

8/10 Good
"This is a decent hotel in a very good location. The staff were friendly but there are a few areas for improvement. Some of the decor in the room was rather tired and the small shelf unit in our wardrobe was broken. It also took a very long time for the water to heat up for showers and when reporting to reception, were told this was standard for an older building. There was also something sharp on the floor between the bathroom and bedroom (perhaps old carpet tack) which caused a small cut on my wife's foot."

The Corn Mill Lodge Hotel

The Corn Mill Lodge Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Stayed over the bank holiday weekend. Great location for travelling around to York, Harrogate etc.. Very reasonably priced. Fantastic cooked breakfast, with fruit/cereal options. All staff were very friendly and happy to talk about anything. Ate one evening in the restaurant, food was delicious. Room was a little tired but it didn’t impact the stay and was still very comfortable. Overall a great stay 😁"
