"We stayed in the Monash Cottage as it is pet friendly, this was a major attraction for our stay. The Monash Cottage is quite a rustic building with a unique history, however the basic nature of the building won’t be for everyone. But it worked really well for our purposes and would stay again. This site is an interesting piece of living history in a rural setting."

"I had a very pleasant stay. The room was very comfortable. The location is close to the Botanical Garden and the lake, but also not far from the town center. "

"Beds were uncomfortable but that could be our preference so we didn’t take off anything for that. There were lots of cobwebs and the fridge was situated on a rickety bit of wood which was fairly unstable. The pool area was good, and generally the property grounds were clean but we were in a corner so litter built up around our unit. Overall it was ok for a few nights cheap stay but really cobwebs in the wardrobe and bathroom should not be expected no matter the level of price. "
