"A lovely resort on Erakor island. Excellent staff. Lovely rooms with waterfront views. Free water sports. Gorgeous location. Definitely the best place to stay in Efate. "

"The beach out the front was the highlight, amazing coral, fish and turtles. Was great as there was a stand up a paddle board, kayak and various rock shoes. Rooms are quite new, spacious and clean. Trent our host was lovely and the tuna sashimi and cocktails were the highlight. I wouldn’t say it’s is a 5 star resort as at times the food was a bit overcooked, our bedroom blind was missing and no aircon (which wasn’t an issue) so windows may be open for bugs to enter. "3rd week here, my room wouldn't get hot water the whole time. Only a trickle of water with no pessure coming out of shower head, only luke-warm. No fresh towels available for 2 days as they were wet. Tv in chinese, remote too, fan goes off when light turned off. No fridge, noisy neigbourhood with roosters crowing all night and dogs barking nonstop. Also sounds from casino, non stop beeping all night and day. Some staff were nice, and helpful sometimes. "I loved the spacious apartment and the private balconies, the aircon and the TV worked well. The chef at casa Mia was good. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. There was no fresh milk in the fridge for a cup of tea but when I asked for some it was brought to me by a young man who went to some trouble to get it. "

The bungalows are well setup and the lagoon view and private pool just took it to the next level, definitely worth it. The resort restaurant has a great range for each meal and the cocktails fit the vibe perfectly. Highly recommend staying at Mangoes - 12/10! "
