"The breakfast staff were very nice, the early check in was a nice surprise, the hotel was very clean, the housekeepers were very thorough and the rooftop was lovely with beautiful views. However, the front desk were horrible at making you feel welcome. Anytime we went in or out of the hotel, very rarely did they even look up to acknowledge us. A simple hello, goodbye, have a good day, how was your day, goes such a long way. Our experience at Hotel Catalonia Magdalenes the week before was a completely different experience. Each and every staff member was so friendly, chatty, gave us great tips as to where to go, brought us water, pastries without us asking. Hotel Jazz can really pick up their reviews by having their staff change this simple task even if they don’t mean it. If I didn’t stay at Hotel Magdalenes the week before I would never have really been able to tell the difference in the customer service. "
