"We had a fortnight's lovely holiday here - I thought the cottage was well-equipped with what we needed. The pool was really nice and the pool sessions for our household worked well. The grounds are large and beautiful. We took bikes too and whilst I wouldn't want to take the kids on bikes on the country roads surrounding it, there was plenty of space for cycling round the grounds themselves - we cycled to the lake and did some pond dipping. "The hotel is in a central location near the shops and beach with amazing views. I was greeted by a very polite gentleman on arrival who advised me on parking which I knew was not guaranteed but i did find a space. The hotel’s decor is traditional and everything is clean and tidy. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The beds were comfortable and breakfast was great. Excellent value for money."
