Edzell in Autumn is stunning! Below is the 'Rocks of Solitude', one of the best walks in Angus along the banks of the river north Esk. Park in the centre of edzell for a long walk or near 'the blue door' for the Shottery version

Staff on the desk great however room very dated only 1 pillow hotel facility nice shower poor room cold and we eat at the restaurant and since eating there have felt very unwell

Cosy place with a great location
We had a great long weekend in Oct/Nov. The village is fantastic with a traditional butcher, farm shop and amazing cafe, all on a lovely high street. A wonderful park across the road which the dog loved. Lots of amazing walks nearby. The flat was cosy and there were some lovely treats on arrival. ...
