The location is fantastic--steps from the Royal Mile and 3 Cafes within 50 yards. BUT the apartment is a weird and dark converted basement. To get to it you walk down concrete steps and past oily bikes and a discarded radiator and a wooden pallet leaning against the wall. Not pretty. It's a bedroom with a kitchen and bathroom attached. Little light. No view at all. The integration between vrbo and Travelocity is USELESS and you may or may not be able to actually get the instructions to get into the apartment. Hopelessly inconvenient tech by Travelocity. The door code was given on a Dropbox document accessed from a temporary vrbo account accessed by a dodgy Travelocity booking link. Definitely not good.
