"We had an amazing time at the Dragonfly! We loved the sunroom and with the golfcart we could go to the beach and the pool! Bud is a great host and respons very fast. There was coffee and many towels that is nice as we come from overseas so we dont have to bring our own! We def. Want to come back!"

"Everyone had great time, house was very nice and accommodating for the whole family. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend mosquito spray though. Screened porch was a big plus for sitting outside at night. Overall a very peaceful place."

"A great old hotel. Very comfortable, spacious room. Quiet, and such a pleasant atmosphere. We stayed two nights and we're sorry to leave. How can you beat staying in a state park lodge? A very good dining room with excellent food and very attentive staff. If you haven't seen or been in the spring, you are really missing something - delightful!"

"Everything was perfect about this house and location. To start out with the host was excellent with communication, House was very clean and well equipped with everything you would need at a home away from home. Being dog friendly was a huge bonus, the whole family loved the beach only being a few steps away. We also enjoyed being in more of a remote location and almost felt like having a private beach. Then days that we wanted to go to more crowded beaches we took a drive to Carrabelle one day and one day to St. George Island but then it was nice to come back to the more remote beach location. The home featured an outdoor shower, which was nice to clean off all the sand before going back in the house as well as had a nice screened in area below the home to enjoy the beautiful scenery without being annoyed by insects. Watching sunrises on the large deck was incredible. Would highly recommend this location and plan on staying here again."

"This place provided the perfect spot to gather with family. It was in close proximity to both Shell Point Beach and Live Oak Island where we met with other family members. The extra-large porch was a great place for morning coffee and evening wind down time. We really enjoyed our visit."

"We love the Spotted Grouper! We have returned for several years. The cottage is cozy with so many amenities—washer/dryer, beach wagon, great supply of towels. Booking is so easy and Sheree is a marvelous host."
