Room was fine, staff were outstanding. They really aimed to please. Travel desk was very helpful. My problem with the place is the location. I had multiple people tell me the neighborhood was not safe. I didn’t see anything nearby that I would have wanted to walk to anyway. So I ate meals at the hotel. The food was not to my liking.

Everything was just perfect with our stay at the Imperial, Every member of staff made us feel so welcome and were always there to help, advice and give top notch service. The restaurants & bars are a really high standard, the Patiala Peg makes an amazing cocktail. The breakfast is an amazing experience with many wonderful options particularly the local specialties. Also the complimentary art tour is really interesting and knowing you are staying in such an historically significant place adds to the uniqueness of the fine hotel.

Very nice and helpful checkin staff.
Breakfast crew nice, and a good selection of meals.
Nice big room -- excellent hot water.
If you're ok with it -- you can walk from the hotel to the subway station (one stop to the airport). You could also get a tuk tuk for about 100 rupees. Ticket to the airport is 21irp.
I didn't try the restaurants in the area.
Not a place for shopping or sightseeing at all -- but that wasn't my goal.
Very bustling and crazy once leaving the hotel.
