Checked in after a 16 hour flight from US around 10:30 pm. Was given the key to a room at check-in. When I went in the room, it was already occupied with luggage, clothes lying in the room. Thankfully no one was there else could have been a bad situation. As next day, I had to leave early for next flight and had paid for the breakfast, requested a packed breakfast and was told would receive my packet of western breakfast of mushroom omlette, muffin, fruits, water, etc. from reception area in the morning. In the morning when I collected it , there were 2 small cucumber sandwich and banana and apple only. Imagine paying $5 for this breakfast even at Radisson. Anyway when complained and was told could pickup from breakfast buffet. Next, I requested for taxi and was told cannot order a taxi but they can offer me a drop to airport 5 minutes away for 1000 rupees. As was in a bit of rush, gave the money to one Mr. Manjeet (don’t recollect the name but started with M) at the table next to circular decoration in the lobby. He simply pocketed the money and didn’t even give me a receipt.
On the positive side, room amenities were great and the breakfast spread was awesome though couldn’t avail.
However, due to the multiple missteps by hotel staff, have to say it was a disappointing experience.
