"Its a lovely old place. Granted it isnt a new build, but the beds are comfortable and you get a bath. And lovely and toasty in the winter. Perfect location for wither taunton or Bridgwater and a free car park. "

"They charged me £5 to park and stated very openly that this was to recover the commission they had to pay to Hotels.com for the booking. I said I wouldn't have known they existed without the site and so it was revenue earned not commission lost - but no. Damaged shower was not good - couldn't control the 'fixed' shower head. Worst was breakfast. It is £10 for breakfast - turns out they dont do breakfast. They give you a voucher and you have to go over to the motorway services for it - and your £10 gives you a set plate and drink. I didn't want a cooked breakfast but couldn't have cereal or toast or fruit or yogurt - it was the plate of set food or leave empty (no refunds allowed). Really poor place, will certainly not be back."

"We stayed for one night and were very happy overall. The standout was the gentleman running the place, who seemed to be doing everything. He was genuinely welcoming and made the stay feel easy and relaxed. The accommodation itself is a bit tired in places, but that felt in keeping with it being an old pub. Importantly, everything was clean and well looked after. The bedroom, bathroom, and bedding were all spotless, which matters more than modern décor. It has a nice, quaint, old-fashioned feel. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The food was fine, nothing particularly memorable, and it did feel a little expensive for what it was, but that seems fairly typical at the moment. Breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent and a real highlight. It set us up perfectly for the day. It was very quiet during our stay. There were hardly any cars in the car park, and we were the only ones eating both in the evening and at breakfast. That may suit some people, but it is worth noting if you are expecting a busier atmosphere. One practical point: the electric vehicle chargers on site are currently not working, so do not rely on them. Overall, a pleasant, comfortable stay with great service and a strong breakfast."

"Wall Eden Farm is a bit of a gem. It’s peaceful and uncomplicated, and the staff welcomed us warmly and seemed genuinely interested in us and making sure we had a good stay. We stayed as a family and felt at ease straight away. There’s lots of nature and wildlife around if you take the time to notice it, which we really enjoyed. It’s the kind of place that encourages you to slow down and switch off for a while. The food in the restaurant was excellent too, which was a really nice bonus. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere relaxing where you can spend time together and enjoy being close to nature."
