The room was a bit shabby, but the beds definitely need to be replaced if nothing else. The rooftop restaurant has very good food, but the hours are inconsistent and they are clearly understaffed. We didn’t use the pool, but the pool area looked nice. There’s a bar/restaurant in the building, too. We checked in after midnight (just driving through the area) and left by 7am. Richard at the front desk was super nice and helpful. Check-in was easy. As far as the room goes, it was fine. Clean enough. Bed was comfortable enough. Someone down the hall was smoking so you could smell it in the hall, but I’m sure that’s not a normal occurrence. The room was spacious. Were there things that were slightly outdated or could be fixed (cracking caulk or older AC units)? Sure, but it’s exactly as expected, but with a really nice and inviting lobby and a really nice front desk person. Parking lot felt safe. Easy to get in and out. I’m very happy with our time there and will likely be stopping there again on our travels south multiple times a year!"
