"We were taken aback by how large the villa was - The living/bedroom was massive, and the bathroom area was the size of a living room. I would recommend Formosa for couples wanting to get married. The size of the villa is more than sufficient to accommodate a wedding crew (make up artist, hair stylist, etc). The only downside for me was the insects - Being next to the golf course, you will see insects. We saw many mosquitoes during our stay there. If you don't like insects, I would recommend...

"Great location, close enough to Auckland, you can see the sky tower in the distance, local ferry to the islands and Auckland. The beach is just a 2 minute walk. This is our 2nd time staying at the resort and will use again when we come again. "
