It was warm in Dusseldorf when I arrived so I asked if there was a fan in the room. No, they said. I asked if the windows opened. Yes, of course, they said. The window opened only at the top and almost no fresh air could get in because the curtains blocked the opening. With no air, I didn’t sleep at all and when I told another attendant in the morning, she said they were fully aware of the problem! A note to the hotel: don’t knowingly rent airless rooms to your guests - or spend a few euros on some fans.

Nice hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. Good location being close to the main station. Breakfast was very nice with a decent selection including fresh bread and croissants. Would definitely stay again.

A small, family run hotel with excellent customer service and communication. Close to the city centre, it is only a 6 minute walk to the main train station. The interior is spotless and well presented with the room itself clean & comfortable. Breakfast was just right and I would happily book again.

Staff really nice, and attentive. Heating works fantastic and shower with really nice water pressure. However, the place is rather old. No issues with that, but beds are hard and pillows are awful. They flatten completely as soon as you start lay on them and give no support whatsoever for the head (also, they are feather pillows so if you are allergic, best to inform in advance). Considering we only needed a place to sleep, unfortunately the place did not meet our expectations.
