Both bedrooms were extremely comfortable, and we used both futons for our children. Both kids said that the futons were VERY comfortable. There was extra bedding tucked away in both bedrooms, the kitchen is stocked VERY well, and we had everything we needed for our stay. Our only complaints are very small. There are very little instructions on how to operate the tvs in the unit. We were able to figure it out, but my older parents with whom we traveled would have been stuck without us there. Explicit instructions would be wonderful. Additionally, the condo has no air. With how unseasonable hot it was, this was a disappointing find - but there were multiple fans in the unit, and with the cool mountain air at night, we were actually quite comfortable for our entire stay. We were able to fit our family of 7 comfortably enough. We would rent this again in a pinch but would look for a larger place for all 7 of us. Even so, we would definitely rent this place again if our group was 4-5\. Great rental space-wise for two couples or a family of 4.Very clean. Plenty of charming Colorado kitsch. We cooked dinner each night for 5 nights, and the kitchen was sufficient.Location of this property is excellent for those who want to split the difference between proximity to Purgatory and Durango. About 15-20min either way. Hot Springs (at Trimble) are about 5min.The Durango-Silverton train runs behind the property, which is totally cool. Property has 3 nice porches, 2 off the back, 1 in front.The reason for 4/5 rather than 5/5 is related to a few minor maintenance issues that the property manager should be able to remedy easily (these were inconvenient but not stay-spoiling, and they have been communicated to the property manager). Also, the listing emphasizes the fireplace, but there was no wood available for us to burn. Also, some hosts are very particular about what is burned in the fireplace (types of wood, kindling, etc.), and some charge an extra fee for using the fireplace — but there were no instructions/guidance for use of the fireplace at this property. ##### Graden D. This was a very nice place, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. When we first pulled up to the front of the unit, we were a little worried. There were cob webs around the front window and porch light and the cushions on the two chairs out front are all torn up and filthy. We were a little nervous that the inside would look the same. But it was beautiful and clean on the inside. Very attractive, too. The winding staircase leads up to a cute little loft and a very large bedroom with a queen sized bed, and a bathroom. There is a patio door and a deck off of the upstairs bedroom, with the hillside as our nice view. It was probably the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in away from home. And the sheets were soooo soft! The main level bedroom also has a patio door and a patio off of the bedroom. There is another bathroom on that floor, as well. The kitchen is small, but nice. The living room and dining area are nice-sized and attractive. There were no instructions anywhere (for arrival, departure, or how-to's), which was a bit unusual for a rental property. But we did receive a text with some basic information. This was a great condo to stay in and we would definitely stay there again. I would just suggest the simple fix of getting new cushions for the two chairs on the front porch and sweep away the cobwebs, so that the first impression would match the much better feeling we got when we walked in the door! We had 6 adults and 1 toddler and it fit us just perfectly. The back deck was great for the toddler and seeing all the trains pass by along with the resident chipmunks in the rocks which he loved! The house was perfect for 6 adults and 1 toddler with the loft and extra futon. The location for us was perfect being in between all the sights and downtown. We went to Honeyville, James Ranch, the July 4th parade, the picnic downtown, Durango Hot Springs and did an amazing waterfall hike. This is a beautiful townhouse located about 10 miles outside Durango. Easy drive into Durango for tours, adventures. The kitchen has plenty of plates, silverware, etc. which was appreciated. The bed was very comfortable and the washer/dryer was nice to have. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the evening. The Vacasa rep I spoke with while I was there was extremely helpful. This condo is a great location, as it just outside of Durango and close to all things nature. Our family enjoyed this cute condo! Great location and value. The stairs are narrow, so that could be an issue for some when trying to get to the 2nd floor. The beds were comfortable, so we were happy. It does get a bit warm upstairs in the summer with no AC, but manageable if you open the windows. I would stay here again. ##### Tammy B.
