"Firstly, I should say that I did only pay £55 for the night, so I can't expect too much. I just needed a place to crash for the night as I in Leicester to catch up with some friends at the nearby Everards Beer Hall. I opted for this hotel over one of the budget chains as I thought it would have a bit more character. Unfortunately the common areas had a strange musty smell and looked very tired and dirty. The room itself was ok. The bed was on the soft side but I slept fine after a long day...

"This hotel is in serious need of some TLC. The bedroom (No5) was bordering on being a bit dirty with cobwebs everywhere and the bathroom was cold, damp, moldy with the toilet seat hanging off as was the toilet roll holder. The TV didn't work, and one of the tea cups didn't appear to have been washed properly. All simple things that could have been fixed and improved the room so much. The food (including the breakfast) was average - certainly nothing I couldn't have done better my self. The...

"Staff very friendly and helpful. Couldn't praise them high enough. Room nice and warm. Relative to cost good value for money. Disappointing there was one cup in room to share. No milk. Tray with sachets of coffee /tea on dirty. Half opened sugar sachet left from previous user. "
