"Apart from the noisy neighbour next door which you can get in any hotel we enjoyed our stay that much that we joined the IHG Rewards scheme and will be using them in the future for stopovers."

"Stayed for one night, reception welcome was excellent, friendly staff team throughout our stay, breakfast staff excellent service, only to note tables were so close together it’s a maze to get to the buffet, could do with more spacing between tables, breakfast food choice and quality is very good, room was wonderful, very clean and decorated to a high standard, amenities very good, would be a nice addition to add biscuits to the tea/coffee tray in the room, overall a lovely place to stay and will return again."

"Nice hotel. We had a deluxe downstairs suite which was spacious & well appointed including a very comfortable king sized bed.Ate in the restaurant which was tasty & breakfast was very good value. Plenty of parking space."

"I understand Apex have just recently taken this property over. Extremely disappointed to be honest. The soundproofing throughout is terrible, didn’t get much sleep due to an ongoing wedding taking place, I used to love coming here when Hilton had it, can’t see me returning, rooms feel dated and in need of work, I was in room 235, windows rotten and due to the interconnected rooms, I could hear every conversation from the room next door, from the outside hotel looks lovely but that’s where it ends unfortunately."

"Excellent customer service but the room, especially the bathroom, is getting obsolete and requires refurbishment. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, but the food quality doesn’t justify with the expensive menu."

"Requested earlier check in and staff were able to accommodate and good service. No air conditioning in the room as broken, but there was a little electric heater that did the job. Bathroom very clean, Loved the bath tub and very powerful shower. The room was generally clean, but could really do with a deep clean to remove dust. Had to clean along headboard myself as very dusty. Overall was lovely & would stay again. "

"The breakfast has a good selection. The main areas of the hotel are nice but the rooms are very tired and need a refurb. It was disappointing not being able to get any food at 8.45pm. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. "

"Room full of dust. Toilet dirty. Complained re this. When we went back to the room toilet still dirty. Went to the reception and got cleaning products an cleaned it ourselves. "
