"This was the worse business trip experience I have had. The smell and cleanliness of the room was poor. The quality of the food was terrible and the price of the drinks was extremely high. An example, I was charge over £4 for a soft drink. The service from certain staff was poor, he offered some guest one option and when I asked for the same he claimed it was not available to order even though that guest told me what she was ordering."

"The Hotel/Pub is very clean and has a reasonably extensive food and drinks menu. My room (9) was a little small but as a single occupant, it was very adequate. It had a kettle and all the condiments, including some biscuits. A water jug was also supplied. The staff were very attentive and professional. A quick shout to Amelia who went out of her way to provide perfect customer satisfaction. I have stayed before and will definitely stay again."

"I recently stayed at Eastwell and it truly is such a beautiful, special place. The setting is stunning and feels very peaceful overall. I stayed in one of the cottages/rooms in the stables, which was lovely, although the soundproofing wasn’t great. This isn’t something the hotel can really control, but it did impact the stay a bit. On the first morning, I was woken at 5:45am by someone locked out pressing the bell repeatedly, and on the second morning you could hear a lot of noise from neighbouring guests very early—talking, moving around, hairdryers, TV, and doors slamming before 7:30am. So i set off early on my 5hr drive home! That said, the staff were absolutely amazing and really made the experience special. We had a group gathering in one of the rooms, and the afternoon tea was lovely. Imogen, who looked after us, was wonderful—so attentive and thoughtful throughout. The cocktails were also fabulous, expertly made by the female mixologist. One small point of feedback but would mean a lot to the family would be that it would be nice to see the spelling of “Brodrick” corrected, as this is the family name that once owned the estate before it became a hotel. Overall, a beautiful place with fantastic staff, just a few things that slightly affected the stay."
