Girlfriends 24th birthday so we stayed in the junior suite and it is one of the best views and rooms I have ever stayed in.

On the online booking form we requested a quiet room on the top floor and that is exactly what we got plus the added bonus of a lovely view of the abbey and other historic buildings. The hotel is located well away from the main road so no traffic noise. We had a meal in the bistro which had a good variety on the menu, all reasonably priced as were the drinks. Great place to stay for lay overs at Edinburgh!

Just got home from a weekend here and it was absolutely beautiful... breakfast options were great and swimming pool, sauna and steam room were great. My only bad point was the mattress wasnt all that but maybe its be being fussy. Netherless a beautiful place and we will be back in the summer

Excellent location in Morningside close to Pubs/Restaurants so no need to worry that food is not served on the premises. The rooms are beautiful and cater for all your needs, definitely a warm and luxurious feel to them. We stayed here to celebrate my husbands special birthday. From the moment we drove up and saw the impressive ship we knew we were in for a special treat. Everything about this place is incredible. This was a great place to stay for our family trip to Edinburgh. The tram station is right outside and only 20 mins ins. We drove and parking was straight forward albeit chargeable at £8 per day. The pool was a real added bonus for our kids after a long day of tourism. Only slight issue for me is our kids are getting older and Novotels concept of a "family" room is starting to look less desirable than the Premier Inns as the sofa bed is tight. Wonderful stylish hotel just opened so very clean and fresh. My room was an apartment with kitchenette (I don't think there is a dining room), high quality spacious bathroom and very high speed WiFi. Staff pleasant, location central and good bar/cafe area. I wanted to stay longer and will definitely stay next time.

Even before arrival Hilary couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly. We were able to check in a little early without any difficulties.
