"We had a lovely week staying here. Although a little dated, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and beds provided a great night's sleep. The garden was large and although not enclosed was great for our older lab. Previous reviews mentioned the steps down to the front door. For clarity, there are two steps on a gravelly slope. "Saraig is a hidden gem, in a lovely quiet part of the Highlands. The loch views are beyond description. Highly recommend a loch swim if you’re feeling brave (and have a wetsuit!). The house itself is full of character and with every possible home comfort. Plenty of places to visit nearby, easy to get to local amenities, restaurants etc. Top tip: if you can afford to buy a trail camera (around £50), you will capture some amazing footage of the pine martens and badgers in the garden at night!...

"We had a lovely stay at Knoydart Cottage, the cottage itself is very homely and the view is spectacular. The kids had a ball exploring the garden, although we encountered a few ticks, so do keep an eye out. The convenience of the Duisdale Hotel literally being next door was great for the nights we couldn't be bothered cooking dinner. A beautiful part of Skye, Armadale Castle down the road is also a must see, fabulous play area for the kids. Highly recommend 👌"

"This delightful cottage made the perfect base for exploring the Isle of Skye, with it being just 20 minutes from the Skye Bridge. It is situated on the shores of Loch Long and very peaceful without being too isolated. "We loved our stay here. The picture window looking over the water was beautiful. The cabin was wonderfully simple and yet held all we needed. I had tried to book it for 4 nights but it was only available for 2 when we were there. I would have gladly booked it for all 4 and if we ever return to Skye we will definitely look ahead of time to book all our nights here again. Loved its eco friendliness as well! "
