Not near Dubrovnik

Posted 24-Aug-2015
Pros: Nothing I can think of would make me recommend this hotel
Location: There is nothing you can walk to from this hotel.
The hotel is clean , has good facilities, but thats it. The restaurants are twice as expensive , compared to the many restaurants we visited in Croatia and the service was very amateurish. It was like they had only been there a couple of weeks and try smiling guys! The hotel lacks a vibe , its totally bland ! Plus a good 35 minutes drive to Dubrovnik. If your aim is to spend time exploring this city get something much closer

Lots of steps

Posted 24-Aug-2015
The hotel is excellent overall but with a few provisos:- - depending on where you are staying in the hotel, there can be lots of steps. This can be difficult if you are travelling with a push chair or wheel chair. You can avoid the steps, but this involves lengthy walks. - the hotel is quite remote and in order to get out you need to pay extortionate taxi fares - even to travel a mile down the road. Your best option is to call the restaurant you are going to and ask them to collect you. - the food in the hotel is overpriced and of pretty poor quality.

Amazing location, beautiful complex!

Posted 22-Aug-2015
Pros: The delux residence was stunning. Every meal we had on the resort was beautiful. The adults only pool was perfect. Amazing location and views.
Location: Don't be put off by the distance to Dubrovnik. The hotel shuttle was lovely, only took 30mins tops and you get beautiful views along the journey.
We have just spent 4 days in this resort, staying in a 1 bed residence for our honeymoon. Our first residence was very disappointing. It felt dark, small and quite unkempt. Also, despite emailing the hotel beforehand to inform them it was our honeymoon and see if there was anything they could do to make it a bit special, on arrival into our residence, there was nothing, not even a little note of congratulations. What I will say, is that the staff are lovely and wanting to accomodate and help. After complaining, we received a complimentary bottle of bubbly, some chocolates and a free upgrade to a deluxe 1 bed residence, which was beautiful. A lovely big appartment, very modern, clean and with a huge balcony and the most amazing views I've ever seen.

Great resort that has something for everyone. We enjoyed jet skis, boat transfer to the old city, diving, snorkelling and relaxing by the pool.

Great facilities but staff not all very friendly

Posted 17-Aug-2015
Pros: Facilities - the pools, location, shuttle bus, restaurants
Cons: Staff are not all very friendly
Location: Old town, beach, day trips to islands, swimming pool
Good hotel/resort but would be ever better if the staff were trained to be a little more welcoming and friendly

Good accom and great facilities - service issues

Posted 16-Jul-2015
Pros: Site, pools, beach, table tennis, sports centre
Cons: Service and general staff helpfulness - wanting to go the extra mile
Location: Resort is out of Dubrovnik but good as town is hugely busy in August. One trip in and a good fish meal was enough for us. Local kayaking was excellent
Just a 4 day trip.Clean, spacious, well set up apartment, a bit stark, in hotel resort with top facilities, beach/ pools and sports wise. Extras are all expensive and none of the resort arranged trips (kayaking and boat trip) provided free water (as we've experienced in Turkey, Greece etc). Resort service wasn't where it should have been. We arrived two hours late, hungry after a delayed EZY flight at 11pm to be directed to the main hotel bar for a bar snack, but then told (by a grumpy bar person) 'my kitchen closed at 9' so we had pretty inferior room service food. No-one escorted us to the room or explained how the AC worked or told us the resort grocery shop closed early on Sunday - so having shelled out £75 for breakfast on Sunday morning, we then failed to buy Monday's breakfast (when we tried to do so later on Sunday pm) as we we were leaving early (just after the shop opened) on Monday for a boat trip. Give the 'elephant islands' boat trip to hugely touristy and Magaluf-like Lopud a miss. Sea kayaking was an excellent trip.

Lovely hotel

Posted 15-Jul-2015
This is a great hotel spread along the coastline so it feels very spacious. Restaurants were very good and the spa was excellent. My room had plenty of wardrobe space, but unfortunately all half-height hanging space, so knee length dresses were creased. It had a spacious wet room, but there was no slope on the floor so the entire bathroom flooded. The hotel was quick to sort this out and moved me to a room with a bathroom. Overall a lovely holiday in a beautiful setting.

very nice hotel, close to beach and restaurants.

Pros: everything
Cons: pillows, there was only feather and very flat
Location: The location is beautiful, but need a car to get around, although there is a hotel bus to take you into Dubrovnik Old Town, water sports, sailing. etc
We had exactly what we went for "a relaxing holiday" the hotel is very comfortable with excellent facilities, a good range of restaurants and although the hotel can accommodate 1000 people it never felt too busy, staff are very polite and helpful. We had a fantastic holiday and looking forward to returning, maybe do some exploring next time.
