Pros - upgraded room, location on stunning sunset coast and 15 minute bus service to Old Town
Cons - poor choice of snack food during the day and what was available was expensive and not much around the hotel.
Beautiful property with sea views from
Every room. Bed was very comfortable, breakfast was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Spa/Sauna is great. Toni at the front desk was excellent. Swimming and the pool area is really well laid out but bring water shoes. Petra at breakfast was great.
The room was lovely and spacious. The view was fantastic especially at sunset. Loved our quiet balcony overlooking the water
The public area was large and great for waiting for folks or reading a book
One of the best features is that it is at the end of the bus line to downtown. The bus is easy to catch and you are dropped back at the hotel front door. The gift shop sells bus tickets but you need cash. The breakfast was very good. Again, the view is wonderful. You definitely feel like you are on vacation here.
We loved the excellence of the property, staff and amenities! While the location wasn’t near the downtown it had a bus stop right at the property which we used daily for a 15 minute ride to the Old Town and back so easily. The pool with the view of the sea was phenomenal! The breakfast was exquisite! The staff were so helpful and cheerful each and every day. We can’t say enough about how great of a stay this was (and we travel extensively).
Dubrovnik Palace was wonderful. The location on the Adriatic Sea was beautiful. When you first walk into the lobby with all windows the scenery is spectacular. Pool area was great with plenty of chairs. The service and staff were excellent and great restaurants at hotel. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Everything you want and more. The room was a nice size and balcony was large. I highly recommend this hotel in this beautiful country of Croatia.
Excellent facilities with plenty of amenities. They had a really cute store with nice dresses, purses and bathing suites. Breakfast was amazing with so many choices. The room was really nice and the beds were comfortable. The location was nice and the hotel has some amazing views. The bus sits right outside of the hotels front door which makes getting into Old Town extremely easy. Staff were all super sweet and helpful. I would stay here again, no complaints.
We had a lovely room with a view of the sea. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. The dinner buffet was ok, but not the best we’ve had. The hotel is HUGE,
Lovely hotel Lovely staff,
Only thing that bugs me is the smoking ! I know people on the continent smoke more, but around the restaurants!
The pool bar!!! Seriously!!
Beautiful hotel on the coast, with a nice pool and loungers on the rocks with direct access to the sea. Amenities were excellent and there was a great choice available at breakfast. Staff were very helpful and easy access to the old town using bus number 4 which starts its route right outside the hotel every 20mins. Would highly recommend.
The property is fabulous but the food is just good. The staff are friendly but we had to chase them for our coffee each morning. When I checked in we asked to extend our stay by one night for a total or six nights. They said they would take care of it but when it came time they offered me a much smaller room with no balcony for more than I had paid for each previous night. I could have gotten a better deal from Expedia. The royal blue is much more accommodating and the food is much better.
Great location. Staff was excellent. Deluxe Seafront Room was split into 2 half’s which was odd and made walking around the bed very tight but otherwise a solid stay.
Room was good, staff very helpful, views are great, amenities were plush. Poolside was a great vibe when it wasn't raining. Food at the hotel was not as good as I'd hoped. Breakfast was expensive but the selections weren't matching the pricepoint. I would stay at this hotel again.
Everything was great except for staff at breakfast. The omelet station was fast and great, but the waiters did not ask if we wanted anything to drink like coffee, water or fresh squeezed oj, which they do have. We went 4 mornings and was only asked 1 time. When I asked for OJ, I they were really rude and didn't want to bring it.
Loved the pool and pool bar service. Rooms were large and quiet. I would definitely stay again.
The hotel was a perfect way to end our trip in Croatia. The team was so helpful, offering any support we needed to figure out bus routes, arranging transportation, and making sure our stay was amazing.
The hotel looks exactly like the photos, the sea and pool area were divine. Would love to stay here again in the future. Its well positioned between the ferry and old town, a short bus or uber/taxi will do the trick. And the airport is 35 minutes away.
