It's such a gorgeous inn but we came and went without feeling any warmth from the staff. Literally no one welcomed us or bid us goodbye. We had to break the ice with the waitstaff. Perhaps that's what happens in a much larger chain hotel, but certainly not what one would expect from a cozy inn. It is the only thing that dampened our spirits during our first time in Sälen. They also should prepare some child-friendly meals, during lunch and dinner. But that is Yorker able compared to the general demeanor of the staff.
