"I was made welcome by friendly and professional staff from start to finish. There was also a fire alarm event at the start of my stay which I thought was managed well but I would reccommend using a Megaphone when communicating directions with the evacuated guests."

"Lovely stay at this seaside hotel. Staff try so hard to make sure you enjoy your stay. Easy parking outside. great breakfast, super comfy bed. Only moan was bar food menu was a bit limited. But, what they served was nice. all in all a great hotel. We will definitely book again. highly recommended"

"Stunning communal spaces, stairs and bar. That staff are very courteous and helpful. You can even rent an umbrella. There is parking and it’s at the reduced rate of £22 if you pay at reception (£40 outside) Our room was a superior king but faced the station. BE AWARE that rear facing rooms get to hear the trains idle at the station for 15-30 mins at a time despite double glazing. A tip would be to master the air con before bedtime as it’s tricky to use (until you know how) and the rooms get quite warm without it."

"Clean rooms, toiletries all Rituals which is lovely. Bar area lovely, little play snug for kids. Room was spacious Staff all very helpful and friendly Swimming pool was a great bonus."

"Comfortable sized room, sturdy and luxurious bed with two mattress toppers for cloud like sleep. Mini fridge to store my own drinks. Tv connected to my phone for netflix and other channels avaible. Nice views over the race course. Peaceful and quiet. Swimming pool was nice temperature, small but enough to have a little exercise. Didnt try the gym due to my schedule, but looked adequate. Changing rooms in good condition, on par with main stream leisure centres. Breakfast for £10 each person, provided a decent variety of hot and cold foods, various drinks available at no extra cost. Didnt try evening meals. Staff were friendly. Cleaning staff were super polite. General vibe was good and money well spent to enjoy some quality rest and relaxation. "

"What a place. Great from start to finish. Check in was a breeze was bags being taken to swift check in and shown to the room. Room was lovely and was very spacious and even included a big deep bath. Drinks in the bar were great and morning breakfast was delicious and I loved the a al carte option. Spa is not to be missed, so relaxing and well worth the money"
