Lovely hotel! Beautiful interior and comfy beds. Unfortunately the bar and restaurant were shut so that was only disappointing part. Other then that was lovely

What an absolutely gorgeous house, the house is actually better in person than the pictures show. Check in was simple with a handy located key box and lots of parking. It was pretty nippy outside and the house was already heated and nice and toasty on arrival, along with the hot tub. Stayed for work. Lovely & clean, warm, powerful shower. Super comfy bed and good quality bedding. Smart tv, dishwasher, lg fridge freezer plus all the usuals.

The property is excellent grate location some real nice touches and attention to detail however the booking in process was shocking if it hadn’t been for this the property would be getting 5* all round

Property was exceptionally clean modern well equipped. Nice little touches of milk bread spread and bottles of wine for arrival. No issues at all with the property it was lovely. The only issue was with the pub next door, which when we spoke to the host the next day he dealt with straight away. Parking instructions weren’t communicated. Access to property is via the pub car park.

brilliant place. staff were lovely, very friendly. i needed vegan options for breakfast and they were more than happy to accommodate. great location and easy parking behind the pub. would definitely stay again

Lovely hotel, staff were really helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Bar and restaurant were busy all day and eve which made a good atmosphere. Really spacious room amd bathroom. Great onsite parking and very close to shops,bars etc

We have just had 4 nights at The Chimes and would definitely go again. The room had everything you could need and was very clean. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast was really nice, cooked by Andy, with a good choice. We managed to park just down the road from The Chimes which was ideal. We were not aware but we had booked the 'Romantic Package'- bottle of bubbly waiting for us and a box of chocolates, a lovely surprise. Delightful room with 4 poster bed. Ate in the evening, extensive menu and excellent food. Good breakfast and Buck's Fizz came with our package. Excellent service from everyone, good value for money. Very popular with locals so advisable to book a table if you want to eat there.

Lovely Farmhouse B&B with excellent restaurant on-site

only stayed one night, friendly attentive staff, 15 minute walk to the centre for the shopping, restaurant and bar areas. We will certainly be booking again soon but next time for a 3 day break
