brilliant place. staff were lovely, very friendly. i needed vegan options for breakfast and they were more than happy to accommodate. great location and easy parking behind the pub. would definitely stay again

We were not aware but we had booked the 'Romantic Package'- bottle of bubbly waiting for us and a box of chocolates, a lovely surprise. Delightful room with 4 poster bed. Ate in the evening, extensive menu and excellent food. Good breakfast and Buck's Fizz came with our package. Excellent service from everyone, good value for money. Very popular with locals so advisable to book a table if you want to eat there.

Lovely hotel, staff were really helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Bar and restaurant were busy all day and eve which made a good atmosphere. Really spacious room amd bathroom. Great onsite parking and very close to shops,bars etc

only stayed one night, friendly attentive staff, 15 minute walk to the centre for the shopping, restaurant and bar areas. We will certainly be booking again soon but next time for a 3 day break

We have just had 4 nights at The Chimes and would definitely go again. The room had everything you could need and was very clean. The beds and pillows were really comfortable. Breakfast was really nice, cooked by Andy, with a good choice. We managed to park just down the road from The Chimes which was ideal. Donna and Andy are a really lovely couple and Donna could not do enough for us. Every morning at breakfast we were greeted with a smile and asked if everything was ok. I would...

Stayed with my husband for our Wedding Anniversary and it was amazing. The Hotel knew this and left us a lovely note and some chocolates in our room for when we arrived, what a lovely surprise. We went to the Spa for a swim and sauna, we almost fell asleep on the beds we were so relaxed.

Chose this hotel because of it's TripAdvisor rating. Cannot fault this hotel. Clean and nicely decorated. Pleasant staff and lovely room (Room 4 king bed and sea view) Loads of complimentary teas, coffees etc and an honesty bar for refrigerated drinks. Nice breakfast choice and good free wifi.

Fantastic hotel - we loved the old colours and decor Really really lovely and we will certainly be back - and oh yes the best shower in the world !!!
