The Paramount has been modernly updated. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And, the restaurant had a great happy hour. Good location close to shopping and transit. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.
This hotel is in great location for traveler.
Price is a little high, also No free parking.
When you sleep at night, there are always some noise from police car and dog park nearby.
Of course, some street people like to enjoy their life in downtown fancy area :)
Room is clean, WiFi is fast.
Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel was extremely clean. The location was key since it was in the mist of some of the best restaurants and all the attractions and piers. Highly recommend, Hotel 5 and Seattle in general. If you go, take the time to visit Victoria, BC.
Great hotel in a fantastic location. It is only a few blocks from the monorail station that will take you straight to the Seattle Center by the Space Needle. It is also only a few blocks from the market. Friendly and accommodating staff. The only downside is that the pool is relatively small for the size of the hotel. My husband and tried to go there and there was already a family of 4 in the pool. They were playing in the pool and it felt too crowded to go in. Also, there is no a hot tub. I wish there was more expanded or updated pool amenities. Otherwise, it was a fantastic stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this very nice hotel. Staff is very nice and friendly. The elevator had problems while we were there. There are 12 floors and for 2 days, only one elevator worked - and very slowly. This is a very convenient location only about a block to the light rail so we didn't need a taxi to the airport. It's within walking distance to Pike's Market. There is a nice little park about a block away, but at the Starbucks in front of the park, there were always disheveled people sitting on the Starbucks ledge. I'm sure the merchants were not happy about this, but there was always a city/park security person around. The park had, ping-pong, foosball, chess and lots of tables and chairs. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant or bar. If we ever went back to Seattle, I would probably stay there again.
Downtown Seattle stretches along Puget Sound from historic Pioneer Square in the south to trendy Belltown in the north. In between, office towers, shopping gallerias, and brick condos line the leafy avenues. The convention center is here, as is Pike Place Market, where salmon fly. Don't miss the futuristic main library. Seattle's twin stadiums and the International District lie south of downtown.
