I chose this hotel without any recommendation and I was extremely pleased with everything from the attentiveness of the staff to the comfortable bed to the great restaurant. I didn't have time to enjoy the rooftop pool but it looked great - except that it's needs a poolside bar! I was in town for business, which is why we chose a downtown Orlando location, but it is also easy to get to other attractions in Orlando. International Drive and Universal Studios are 20 minutes or so away on the highway. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Orlando.
It was an excellent experience. I arrived at 11:50 p.m. and was greeted by Kimberly. She took time to tell me about the hotel, my room, pricing, etc. She was just getting ready to leave, but told me if I needed anything that Chad would be able to assist me tomorrow. During the course of my stay, Kimberly continued to make it a wonderful experience. We had a trying day with business and thought a bottle of wine would make things a bit more relaxed. Kimberly told us where we might buy some wine; but also provided us with some actual wine glasses and a corkscrew! ( :) ) Quite welcome, indeed!
The balcony was a welcome retreat and was used frequently. It would have been nice to have a mini fridge in the room...had to keep my soda on ice in the ice bucket, but other than that, it was an awesome stay. I would definitely visit again! It's a quaint, cute little hotel!
The room was extremely spacious, but far from luxurious. Clean enough, although housekeeping did not clean out the coffee pot after my first night. The grounds and breakfast facility have lots of character. Walking distance to a number of restaurants if you do not mind walking 8-10 blocks.

We liked the hotel and the service, however the noise is horrible. We couldn't sleep. We could hear the traffic, the train, etc. only if they had curtains to block the noise a little, it would make it much better!
Great location, perfect for a weekend getaway! Hotel was clean, friendly staff, and easy check-in. Walking distance to local restaurants and bier gartens! We took a $5 uber to a few gastropubs, but they also offer complimentary shuttle downtown.
Although Orlando is best known as a place for play, the city’s downtown reflects the area’s vibrant economy. Skyscrapers rise along Lake Eola, the site of a popular Sunday market. West of the Central Business District, the Orlando Magic holds court at the Amway Arena, while the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre hosts major concerts. The Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium is nearby.
