I kind of wish I knew the lobby was under renovation. It was still lovely and the makeshift bar was fine. Just a small inconvenience! Very easy to walk to Water St to eat, shop, grab coffee, etc. Very gracious and welcoming staff.

My wife and I stayed 4 nights in a corner room. The views were great and the room was very clean. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping everything spotless. The staff was very accommodating when we had 2 grand children stay overnight, setting up a full size inflatable mattress. The location is walkable to great restaurants and shopping. Overall our stay was wonderful & we would recommend this hotel to others.

Clean, very modern, upscale. Never feels crowded, everyone was friendly & welcoming. Great cappuccino at the lobby coffee spot, wonderful drinks at the rooftop. Can’t beat the location either. Stayed here twice & would love to return!

Our stay at the JW Marriott Tampa was absolutely wonderful. The hotel was exceptionally well-maintained, with a very clean, beautiful, and welcoming environment throughout the property. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive, making us feel comfortable and well taken care of from the moment we arrived. A special thank you to Santiago, who went above and beyond to assist us with navigating the area. He provided excellent recommendations and helpful information about getting around town, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The service throughout the hotel was outstanding, and the bar experience was spectacular. Everyone we encountered was courteous, attentive, and committed to providing excellent customer service. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and were very impressed with the cleanliness, hospitality, and level of service. We would absolutely stay at the JW Marriott Tampa again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, upscale, and well-maintained hotel.

The property and the staff were wonderful. The only negative thing about the experience is that there wasn't clear signage on where to turn into the valet area.
